“Basil in Terracotta”

He’s been growing in his large Italian terracotta pot into something majestic. Every morning, I water him and watch him stretch a little taller, reaching toward the sun.

Somewhere along the way, he decided we were friends, his leaves brushing my hand, releasing a soft basil scent that lingers on my skin like a quiet hello. 😋🪴
